It was my first experience attending a painting workshop. I was not expecting to learn about colors, brushes, techniques all at once, and most of all, learning how to analyze paintings (Value, texture, etc.). You and your class are wonderful! I always experienced a great positive energy while I was painting in your class. I never thought that I could paint but now I’m confident to pursue painting as my main hobby. The class was like a therapy for me as I’m a new mother and also I lost my dad when we just started our class. The class helped me accept the truth and make peace with it. That worth a lot for me and I’m grateful to have this opportunity. I’ll definitely recommend this class to others.

Lina's individual-focused approach to leading novice painters has, quite frankly, been a liberating experience for me. I have discovered that I have my own style and now know how to start and work through various stages to achieve a finished painting. Lina's quiet, respectful guidance was inspiring. The setting always calm, safe and friendly. Best of all, I've taken up painting as a past time... it definitely is a meditative experience for me. I am grateful to have had such a fulfilling first art experience.

I have attended several of Lina’s abstract art classes and have always found the atmosphere relaxed, inviting, and comfortable. Lina encourages you to paint what you feel. There is no pressure in her classes, and I really like having several weeks to work on our canvases rather than trying to complete one painting a week. Lina provides suggestions and inspiration. The classes have a friendly feeling and participants are comfortable to walk around and share ideas and feedback with each other. The sessions with Lina are my first try at abstract and I have found that I feel peaceful and have experienced an easy flow to my paintings. I always look forward to the classes and have been surprised by what I can accomplish thanks to Lina's guidance and encouragement.
