I saw the Bayan trees for the first time, during my visit to Sri Lanka in 2019. Magnificent-looking trees, covered entirely with branches hanging down their trunks.
At first glance the branches felt like veins extending through the bodies of the trees, they seemed like wires intertwined wanting to be touched, to connect and be connected. Veins & Wires through which I could see the pulse of life, the reflection of what would be.
